Astromythology in the Bible

Pisces symbol found on early Christian mosaic.

The character of Jesus Christ is a mythological sun god and the early Christians believed in the superstition of Astrology. Early Christian churches used the symbol of the fish to represent the age of Pisces. Modern Christians still use this fish imagery without ever realizing that it’s an astrological symbol. The New Testament itself is full of references to fish symbology, “fishers of men”, “Jesus fed the masses with two fish”(constellation Pisces), etc. The New Testament often talks about the “end of the age”(sometimes mistranslated as “end of the world”). The ending age that they were talking about was the age of Pisces. The next will be the age of Aquarius. Aquarius is symbolized by Luke 22:10: “He replied, “As soon as you enter Jerusalem, a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you. Follow him. At the house he enters,”. The “house” refers to the house of the zodiac, the man carrying a pitcher of water is Aquarius.

The early Christians believed that the age of Aquarius would be when the “Kingdom of Heaven” would become the new earth. They thought that the end times would occur during the age of Aquarius.

Another example of astrology in the Bible is Jesus’s birth story,
Matthew 2:9–2:11 : “After this interview the Magi (royal astrologers) went their way. And the star they had seen in the east guided them to Bethlehem. It went ahead of them and stopped over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they were filled with joy! They entered the house and saw the child with his mother, Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasure chests and gave him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.”

This passage describes what happens to the constellations in the sky during the Winter Solstice (Christmas) on the Evening of 24th December/morning of 25th December. The video below shows what I’m talking about.

Yes, Jordan Maxwell talks about all this!

Wow. 9 hours ago

Jordan Maxwell is a known liar and disinfo shill.

Jesus is not a sun god. Zeitgeist is propaganda as well.

Think for yourself!

Haha, what a ridiculous comment. Jordan Maxwell is obviously pretty crazy, but he does have some good info on the origins of religion. However, this info certainly did not originate from him or Zeitgeist or whatever. Researchers of this subject have always noticed that the Bible has obvious 'astrotheological' symbolism. Thomas Paine knew about this, for example.

I'd say that "think for yourself" is precisely the advice that YOU need to adhere to. Do some research and try to make some actual arguments next time, instead of spouting nonsense.
